Finger Lickin' Good!

Connor and I enjoyed a skinny cow ice cream sandwich on the front porch/lanai tonight. In case you can't tell, there wasn't anything left (of his or mine)! I don't know what he enjoyed more, the actual sandwich, or licking his fingers for 5 minutes afterwards :o) Simple pleasures....

Gymnastics - Success!!!

I finally found a gymnastics place for Connor that is right near us. It's called Hawaiian Island Twisters & it's great. We've tried a couple toddler classes at 4pm and I have to say that it was miserable, for all involved. Connor was so tired and just not into it. So on Monday we tried a class at 11am. WOW! What a difference! The coach has a helper, the place is quiet (Connor's class is the only one at that time), there are 5 other kids in the class - one of which is a boy! - and Connor is much more attentive, cooperative, and enjoyed himself a lot. S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

Old and the New

Today we got a new hutch, which we've wanted forever, just never really had the room. Wait, let me clarify... I guess I've wanted a hutch more so than Will :o) We've had Nan's china since we've been married (plus our crystal glasses we got as gifts) and everything has been in boxes getting moved from one place to the next. But I happen to find this hutch on Craigslist for a steal and it kind of matches our dining room table. Not quite as light, but pretty close. And it's in GREAT shape! So today we got to mix a little of the old with the new, thanks to Nan for keeping a special eye on our goodies so that they didn't get broken. Miss ya lady!
