It was definitely a good day at the Koszarek's! Connor was so excited that Christmas was FINALLY here. We hung out in our jams most of the day, skyped with the fam, and built legos. What more could you ask for?!? Thanks to all the family and friends that sent gifts to Connor. He's a very lucky little boy
I think Connor finally realized that Santa is a cool dude, he brings the presents! We've gone through some phases with Santa.. when Connor was a baby, he didn't mind Santa at all and we got some great pictures. Then when Connor was 2 he wasn't so sure, and we got a family picture. At 3 he would get close (like next to Santa's house!) and take his picture there. At 4 he shocked us and got a picture with Santa at school (probably because all his friends did it - gotta love peer pressure!). This year we did breakfast with Santa at Dave and Buster's and Connor had his list, talked it over, and posed for several pictures! Awesome! I wonder how long this will last....
Yesterday we got to skype with Grandpop and Mema, which also meant opening their gifts a little early. Connor was totally thrilled, and we're hoping to get online with all the gparents before Christmas so that everyone doesn't want to 'see' Connor open his presents all on the same day. It was nice... we got to hang out & chat, Connor opened his gifts, and they got to see all the excitement (while no one else dialed in). Thank you skype, I love you! And thank you Grandpop and Mema... there are bullets everywhere & the range just doubled! lol
Here's a pic of our decorated tree. Definitely interesting, this Hawaiian model. It's funny, we were just saying that the spaces between the branches actually allow you to see all the ornaments hanging. I like it!!! What I like most of all is that there are NO needles on the floor and it's still alive. Awesome!
We've been trying (really hard) to wait it out and get new living room furniture when we get back to the mainland. I was looking in the spring but furniture here is SO expensive. So waiting it was, until today. Our stuff was pretty old, falling apart, and it actually hurt to sit on it. Not to mention Will and I never sat together. You know what I always say... 'desperate times call for desperate measures!' So today we randomly hopped on craigs list to take a look and ended up getting a deal and a half on this set, practically brand new. Lucky us! Merry Christmas!!!!! YAY!!!!
I can't help but crack up when I see this picture... I got my hair cut the other day and I swear I lost 10 pounds of hair. Love it! Everyone wanted to see it (online) so I took a few pics. This one was taken when someone knocked at the door, hence Connor's face. FUN-NY!

Connor's bud across the street, Nathan, celebrated his birthday over Labor Day Weekend. The huge water/bounce slide was out, food, cake, ice cream, shaved ice, CRAZY good time!
