Spring Break With Friends!

Our awesome friends, the Panik's, also came out to visit us! We took them to just about every great beach we knew.... Hickam (which was Graham's first beach run!), Ko Olina out at the lagoons (where this shot was taken) and of course out to the sand bar via our boat! We had such a great time, we sure hope they did too!
The other day we went to the Honolulu Zoo with friends from school... all boys!

Today we went to Lanikai Beach with friends from school, total blast! All boys:o) How did we get so lucky?!? I wonder what we'll do the rest of the week?!? Choices, choices....

Here they are, our gorgeous, yummy cherry tomatoes!!! Not bad at all.

Tomatoes In March?!?

I guess a tomato plant is nothing out of the ordinary, but this plant came about in unusual circumstances. My friend Linda gave me a strawberry plant last year after they moved here and came to dinner. We got a few strawberries from it (maybe Rocco was snacking on them all) but it died. And I thought there was a weed taking over in the planter. I let it go for a little while, then asked Will about it. We both thought it looked (& smelled) like a tomato plant. But how could that be? So we waited some more and then saw tomatoes growing. How crazy! I had to put a huge stake in the planter the other day, and tie it to the post so it wouldn't fall over. Watering it like a feign too. Hopefully these bad boys turn red and they are tasty! I'll let you know....
