So, So Sad

Yesterday Will left for a trip back East. Actually he's going to be all over the place... DC, San Diego, then Puget Sound, WA. He'll be back in a few weeks, but it feels like forever. Pretty sad considering he use to be gone for months at a time. How quickly we forget. But Connor is really, really sad. I thought that when we got back from the airport he would see his friends and forget all about it. But he didn't. He kept asking why dad had to go and why we couldn't go with him. Breaking my heart! I started thinking of the last time Will was gone and it has almost been a year since he had to go to school in Port Hueneme for 6 weeks. I guess Connor has forgotten that. Here's to hoping the next few weeks go real fast! Miss you Dad! xoxoxox

Will has been out to sea on La Jolla for sea trials this week. What does he do when the sub surfaces today, for the first time since he got underway? Grab a stogie, of course! At least the sea looks calm. I can't wait to hear all about this trip!

Momma Got A New Pair Of Shoes!

Yes, I am now the proud owner of cute golf shoes:o) Now maybe my game will improve??? I'll let you know, but I did pretty good with them today. Maybe it had something to do with the golf pro and his lessons. If only I could have him in my ear every time I played.....
